Known to no one, not even self. Lost in mystery and seeking sanctuary, tracing self-roots and following the sounds of ancestry. I seek healing and guidance to redefine self. We all lay where we rose. Ancestral Quest: Is a performativity choreographic dance piece that I create in question for the originality of art and movement. The project also digs deep in the origins of my native dance genres and the ancient understanding of dance as an art form. In this project, I communicate my research of art finding its way back to where it originated and to the primary purposes of its creation. Looping in the past and present, projecting a chaotic future and rebuilding back to the ancient norms. This is a work in progress. Watch video below
